PHIE 3522 - Interprofessional Grand Rounds II (2)

Interprofessional Grand Rounds is a team-based collaborative learning experience between students from pharmacy, nursing, and undergraduate and graduate nutrition programs in Lipscomb University’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Students meet in small groups for five, three-hour sessions each semester. Learning methods include didactic, case-based, and simulation activities to focus on team interactions and promoting patient and family-centered care through development of proficiency in the four IPEC core competencies. Students are actively involved with their interprofessional teams during clinical problem-solving activities and have the opportunity to learn about and from health science students at other universities, including student prescribers from medicine, dentistry, and nurse practitioner programs.
