EG 5143 - Methods in STEM K-5 (3)

This course will offer students a chance to learn content and pedagogical knowledge in lesson planning, classroom practices, and materials needed to implement cross-curricular lessons in STEM. Students will learn about the use of hands-on and experiential learning, cooperative learning, inquiry, problem-based learning, discourse practices, scientific and mathematical modeling, computational thinking, and technology-enabled learning-key science and mathematical practices. Students will create cross-curricular lessons in STEM content and refine their lessons based on academic feedback from peers and instructor.
