EG 5173 - Methods in Art Education (3)

This course will focus on content and pedagogical knowledge in lesson planning, classroom practices, and materials needed to effectively teach art, music, and the performing arts in K-12 settings. Students will go from theory to practice as they design curriculum and lesson plans demonstrating best practices in arts education. Students will develop a repertoire of resources, professional standards, and professional organizations aligned with their content area and will collaborate with expert professionals in the field.
