EG 6013 - Systems Thinking (3)

This course will address the educational leader’s role in identifying and addressing system inequities in the educational system. Candidates will extend their understanding of educational case law and how the rulings inform local, district, and state educational policy. A greater understanding of landmark federal cases will also be explored, and candidates will apply their understanding of the rulings to develop school policy that ensures equitable access the educational system. Candidates will learn how to engage the school community in policy development and effectively advocate for school needs and resources.
