MC 6003 - Mass Communication Messages and Effects (3) F


This course focuses on the processes through which mass communication messages influence people. It examines major scholarly approaches and applied research findings for understanding what, how, why, who, and when messages influence audiences and in turn how audiences select, interpret, and respond to mediated messages. The course covers a wide range of relevant theory, models and research findings.
