SW 3533 - Human Behavior and the Social Environment I (3) F This course focuses on the diversity of individuals, examining the biological, social-structural, psychological and cultural sources of human behavior. Systems theory and an ecological perspective are utilized in understanding the development of individuals and families throughout the life cycle. A planned change model approach provides the framework for addressing individual and family issues within the context of the environment in which they exist.
Prerequisites: SW 1103 , SO 1123 , PS 1113 .
