BY 3612 - Nature Study (2) F, SP, SU An elementary introduction to the study of the natural world. The course is laboratory and field oriented with both living and non-living materials being used to introduce the student to his/her natural surroundings. Emphasis is placed upon the student’s developing the ability to identify such things as insects, birds, reptiles, trees, wild flowers, rocks and minerals. Does not count towards a biology major.
Lecture, 2 hours; laboratory, 2 hours.
