OSCM 4303 - Quality Management (3) Offered on demand This course examines the principles and techniques for managing and improving quality in manufacturing and service organizations. Students learn the role of quality in a firm’s strategic plans and drive for competitive advantage. Topics include quality culture, customer satisfaction, new product design control, incoming material control, process control, and continuous quality improvement. Students will use tools and techniques including quality function deployment, statistical process control, lean six sigma and total quality management.
Prerequisite: OSCM 3503 .
