MU 3413 - History of Music I (3) F Offered even-numbered years

A survey of music in Western culture from its ancient beginnings to the music of Bach and Handel; particular attention is given to the development of stylistic concepts through the extensive use of scores and recordings.

Prerequisite: Minimum grades of “C” in MU 2133 (Theory III) and MU 2402 (Music Literature).
