TH 3173 - Theatre Drafting and Rendering (3) SP, Offered odd-numbered years

This course introduces technical drafting and detail rendering in theatre. Students learn to create and use ground plans, sections, elevations, light/sound plots, and scaling. Students master skills such as lineweight, linetype, proportion, perspective drawing, 3D drawing, rendering, computer drafting, image manipulation, and animation. Students use a variety of guided activities and assignments to produce a portfolio of work presented at the end of the semester.

Prerequisite TH 2453.
