PERF 5401 - Capstone Development I (1)

This class provides the entry-level student with the fundamental knowledge required to publish scientific articles within the field of perfusion care. Course work will include both class time and observation within the surgical suite, as well as assisting the program director, designated faculty, and clinical instructors with ongoing educational, departmental, and cardio-thoracic research projects. Students will be required to actively participate in data collection and sampling. Laboratory participation is an important aspect of perfusion training, and some of the research conducted within this class may include invitro laboratory participation.
