This course covers the taxation of individuals and business entities, such as C Corporations, S Corporations, and partnerships. Property transactions are also featured, with attention given to property basis and holding period, realized and recognized gains and losses, and the character of gains and losses. Discussion of tax professional responsibilities and procedures for dealing with the IRS are also included, along with key business law concepts.
