KIN 6263 - Exercise Evaluation & Prescription for Special Populations (3) S This course is designed to introduce the student to the etiology and treatment of multiple chronic diseases and conditions. The role of exercise in disease management will be examined and the risks and benefits associated with exercise will be detailed. Each student will be able to prescribe exercise for patients with special considerations including but not limited to: cardiovascular, metabolic and pulmonary diseases, arthritis, osteoporosis, cancer, and neuromuscular conditions.
