EG 7433 - Statistics for Social and Behavioral Science 3 Students interpret and analyze data using descriptive and basic inferential statistics applied to the social and behavioral sciences (e.g., t-tests, correlation, chi-square tests, analysis of variance, regression). An emphasis is placed on building a conceptual foundation of univariate and bivariate statistics within the general linear model. Students learn procedures to conduct appropriate statistical tests using statistical software, consider assumptions, report statistics appropriately, and make valid conclusions from the data. Students also apply their understanding of statistics through interpreting published research reports.
