EG 8213 - Advanced Methods in Quantitative Research 3 Students explore a variety of quantitative methodologies used in the social and behavioral sciences (e.g., ANCOVA, MANOVA, multiple regression, logistic regression, discriminant function analysis, and factor analysis). An emphasis is placed on applying multivariate approaches to design research, test hypotheses, and draw conclusions based on various research investigations. The course also includes an introduction to structural equation modeling including the use of path analysis. Students practice interpreting statistics from published research and apply statistical models appropriate for various research questions using computer-based software.
