EG 7383 - Finance and Policy (3)

This course will examine financing and budgeting practices in select sectors such as education, public service, and health care and how those practices also transfer to organizations. This examination will include revenue sources, budgeting and approval processes, assessing budget decisions, consideration of the impact of judicial and legislative decisions on financial policy, and the impact of financial policies and systems on equity and opportunity. Includes exploration of the influence of politics toward aligning budgetary decisions with identified priorities.
