EG 8313 - Policy Analysis and Change (3)

This course will focus on specific techniques of policy analysis across various sectors such as education, public service, or health care: recognizing and defining a problem, researching and developing possible solutions; and considering benefits and negative impacts of the alternatives. Processes for how policy is changed and implemented in public and organizational systems will also be examined. This includes the examination of how policies and regulations translate down from federal, state, to local levels, as well as from system, to organizational, to departmental levels.
