EG 5853 - Methods of Teaching Physical Education (3)

This course is designed to help students prepare to teach developmentally appropriate physical education to elementary through high school aged children. Major topics include: goals and objectives, human growth and development, adapted P.E. for special needs, history, organization and planning, teaching strategies and techniques, materials, curriculum (movement education, games and sports, educational gymnastics, rhythms, physical fitness and wellness) and evaluation.
