EG 8023 - Doctoral Research II (3) Students will undertake approved doctoral research culminating with a formal written and oral presentation to their advisor and doctoral committee. The research must be approved and monitored by program faculty and will include the following (or approved variations thereof dependent upon the research):
• introduction of the topic of research;
• analysis of the issue and thorough examination of the related literature and research;
• design, administration, and analysis procedures of research methodology; (qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods);
• findings;
• conclusions, discussion, and development of recommendations for practice;
• oral presentation of the research and recommendations;
• publication of the final manuscript in ProQuest
EG 8013 and 8023 will be graded as satisfactory/unsatisfactory by the doctoral faculty advisor. EG 8033 will be graded as satisfactory/unsatisfactory by the doctoral committee. Doctoral research not completed by the end of EG 8033 will require registration for EG 8041 Extended Doctoral Research.
