EG 5331 - Teacher Mentoring III (1)

The COE provides on-going mentoring for teacher education candidates who are completing an initial license. This includes a formal relationship with each teacher who has not completed all requirements for licensure as set forth by the university and the Tennessee Department of Education Office of Educator Licensing. This relationship generally takes the form of a mentor-mentee connection. Teachers who have not completed all licensure requirements will be expected to register for mentoring hours not to exceed four credit hours over the fall and spring semesters of the academic year without regard to the number of years the teacher has held licensure.
