SW 3633 - Social Work Practicum I (3) F

Field Education is the signature pedagogy for social work. It is designed to integrate and apply social work knowledge, values, and skills in a generalist practice setting. Under supervision, students will complete a total of 150 hours in an agency-based internship, demonstrating competencies and practice behaviors. Students will engage with peers and faculty, one hour per week, for processing social work experiences and actively engaging in the course.

Prerequisite: SW 4513.
Must be taken concurrently with SW 3623. Open to social work majors only in the fall of the Senior year.
