MA 4123 - Applied Statistics (3) SP of even numbered years

This course will introduce topics in study design and analyses. Topics will include: types of studies, sample size, methods for categorical data, analysis of variance, simple and multiple regression, logistic regression, time series. and introduction to statistical software, such as R and advanced Excel techniques. Prerequisite: MA 3123 with a minimum grade of “C.”
