CM 2211 - Organic Chemistry Laboratories I (1, 1) F, SU
These laboratory courses are designed to complement the organic chemistry lecture courses CM 2113 and CM 2123 . These courses introduce the student to basic laboratory skills and techniques often used by organic chemists. The laboratory work includes separation and purification techniques, synthesis of different types of classes of organic compounds, and organic qualitative analysis properties of various spectroscopic methods. Courses must be taken in sequence.
Prerequisite: CM 1123 and CM 1221 .
Corequisite, respectively: CM 2113 and CM 2123 .
Laboratory, 4 hours each.
