Educational Leadership (33 hours)
The M.Ed. in Educational Leadership is designed to equip future school leaders to manage change, resulting in higher levels of learning in the classroom for all students. This learner-centered program takes a unique approach to training effective school administrators. Not only does the program prepare participants for licensure as instructional leaders, but it also has a distinctive emphasis in change, ethical leadership, and practical experiences. Learning opportunities include collaboration with a mentor/coach throughout the program to prepare participants for the challenges of today’s school leadership. The program is designed to meet the scheduling needs of the working professional. The M.Ed. in Educational Leadership can be completed within 18 months with classes conveniently scheduled online and on campus during summers, weeknights and on weekends. One exit requirement of this program is a passing score on the School Leaders Licensure Assessment (Praxis 6011).
