Pharmacy, Master of Management/PharmD

Dual Degree: MM and PharmD (30 hours)

Note: Graduate students participating in a dual degree program must adhere to the admissions and academic policies of each graduate program that are consistent with policies for dual degree programs. For additional information see the Dual Degree Programs section in this catalog. Only currently enrolled PharmD students are eligible to apply.

Graduate Courses from the College of Business MM program (15 hours)

Each student must apply for and be accepted into the College of Business.  

Management courses

• MMGT 5103 - Managing Yourself and Others I (3)
• MMGT 5113 - Managing Yourself and Others II (3)
• MMGT 5203 - Managing for Results I (3)
• MMGT 5213 - Managing for Results II (3)

• For the final business course, students may select any BU or HA course that is part of the MM Health Care program as an elective. Credits / Units: (3)

Graduate Courses from the College of Pharmacy (11 hours)

Pharmacy required courses:

• PHAD 1303 - Pharmacy Leadership and Management (3)
• PHAD 2423 - Concepts in Pharmacy Practice Administration (3)
• PHPR 3nnV - Elective I (2)

• PHPR 3nnV must be taken as both a 2-hour and a 3-hour elective for a total of 5 hours.

Additional Pharmacy Requirement for ALL students (4 hours)

Students must select one of the following courses:

• PHAE 4nn4 - Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences IV (4)
• PHAE 4nn4 - Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences IX (4)
