The Ed.S. in Leading in Curriculum and Instruction focuses on both the theory and implementation of best practices in teaching and learning while equipping the participant to take a leadership role in the teaching setting. The program provides a solid foundation in research-based instruction, curriculum, teaching strategies, data use and skills. Sharing a common core of classes with the other Ed.S. programs, the Ed.S. in Leading in Curriculum and Instruction is designed to enhance both teaching skills and career opportunities.

Course Requirements
All Ed.S. candidates take the following two courses as non-credit, no-charge, and pass/fail, one during their first semester and one during the semester in which they graduate: Ed.S. Core - Required for all emphasis areas (15 hours)
EMPHASIS Leading in Curriculum and Instruction
EMPHASIS: Leading in Curriculum and Instruction Ed.S. Core + 18 hours, including EG 5863 and EG 6343 12 hours of electives chosen to support individual learning goals |
