Additional Requirements:
Private lessons in one performance area (50-minute, 1-hour credit) during each semester the student is enrolled (up to 8); minimum 4 hours must be upper division.
Participation and a satisfactory grade in the assigned ensemble for each semester the student is enrolled (up to 8).

Note:
The Bachelor of Science degree in music is paired with math/science courses that prepare students for a professional program in the sciences. The degree includes courses in mathematics and science and prepares students for the MCAT exam at the end of the junior year.
