Master of Management / Health Care (34 hours)

The Master of Management, with a Health Care focus, is restricted to current Lipscomb Pharmacy students enrolled in the Pharm.D. program and can only be completed as a dual degree program.

Master of Management in Health Care students will take the following courses representing a total of 34 hours of coursework:

HA 6123 - Health Care Analytics and Analysis (3)
HA 6133 - Strategic Use of Health Care Information Systems (3)
HA 6193 - Strategic Finance in Health Care (3)
HA 6223 - Strategic Marketing in Health Care (3)
PHAD 1302 - Pharmacy Leadership and Management (2)
PHAD 2423 - Concepts in Pharmacy Practice Administration (3)
PHAD 3nn6 - Directed Work Experience - Pharmacy Business Management (1)
PHPR 3nnV - Elective I - IV (2-3)
Two elective courses are required for a total of four (4) elective hours. For Elective 1, students will complete Research in Pharmacy Practice, Project Management, or Formulary Decision Making for 2 hours. For Elective 2, students will complete a Change Management Elective for 2 hours.
PHAE 4nn4 - Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences I - IX (4)
Choice of one of the following: Advance Pharmacy Practice Experiences IV or Advance Pharmacy Practice Experiences IX. 4 hours.
