The program introduces students to the interconnected fields of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design. UX focuses on high-level thinking, including research, testing, and understanding human behavior, while UI emphasizes creating functional, user-centric designs. The program teaches students to apply UX principles in designing digital experiences that are easy to use, enjoyable, and meet user needs, covering topics such as the intersection of UX with branding, user journeys, and effective creative solutions. Students also learn to improve UI by focusing on interactivity, aesthetics, and minimizing user pain points through consistent, mobile-first strategies. The program delves into the UX design process, guiding students through its four key phases: user research, design, testing, and implementation.
