The Educational Leadership, Non-Licensure certificate provides candidates an opportunity to explore leadership skills and strategies that are beneficial to a wide range of school leaders including, but not limited to, teacher leaders, grade level leaders, and individuals serving on leadership teams. The courses in this certificate pathway address community relations and communication, strategic planning, school law, and character formation. The Certificate in Educational Leadership, Non-Licensure can be combined with another certificate in the Stackable Master’s Degree Program.
Candidates pursuing the Educational Leadership, Non-Licensure Certificate as part of the Stackable Master’s Program and with at least three years of educational experience may elect to add the administrative license by completing three additional Educational Leadership courses and passing the School Leader Licensure Assessment.
