Lipscomb University’s Traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is a 128-credit-hour program designed to equip and empower nurses to care for patients across the lifespan. Throughout the upper division BSN curriculum, student nurses engage in over 580 contact hours of clinical experiences in a variety of healthcare settings, including but not limited to pediatrics, intensive care, emergency care, mental health, and obstetrics.
Graduates of Lipscomb’s BSN program are prepared to sit for the National Council of State Boards of Nursing - Registered Nurse (NCLEX-RN) exam (licensure is required for clinical practice) with the majority of graduates passing on the first attempt (see lipscomb.edu/nursing for statistics).
