Master of Management: Engineering

Master of Management: Engineering (30 hours required)


This program is designed with the engineer whose future career interest is in leadership within an engineering organization.  Managing a technical workforce is quite different than a corporate financial organization and issues specific to engineering and technical environments are covered. The program consists of 12 management hours offered through the College of Business and 18 engineering hours offered through the College of Engineering.

Master of Management: Engineering with Sustainability Concentration (36 hours)


This program is perfect for the future engineering generation with an interest in green building, renewable energy, and sustainable practices. The program consists of 12 management hours offered through the College of Business, 15 engineering hours offered through the College of Engineering, and 9 hours offered through the Institute for Sustainable Practice.

Engineering Courses (15 Hours)


Under engineering courses, students will choose EMGT 5183 Advanced Project Management OR EMGT 5143 Quality Systems in addition to the other four courses listed.

Management Courses (12 hours)


Twelve (12) hours of management courses offered through the College of Business are required to complete the Master of Management: Engineering degree.

Sustainability Concentration Electives (9 hours)


When choosing the Master of Management: Engineering with Sustainability Concentration, students are allowed to select 3 courses (9 hours) from the Sustainability Courses listed below to obtain their required hours.
