NURS 3033 - Pharmacology for Nursing (3) F, SP Focuses on the major drug classifications, principles of drug actions/interactions and nursing implications. An introduction to pharmacologic knowledge, clinical foundations for drug use as a treatment modality and the role of the nurse in drug therapy are presented. Current trends in pharmacologic therapy will be discussed.
Prerequisites: CHEM 1024 or CHEM 1013, BY2434, BY2444, BY2424, and N2103 Lecture, 3 hours.
