ED 3649 - Clinical Practice II (9) F, SP Analysis of various methods and the basic factors in the teaching-learning process are considered in light of research-based teaching strategies and principles of learning in this course. The focus is on both short and long term instructional planning that incorporates formative and summative assessment and modifications to maximize student learning. Attention is given to adapting lessons for students with diverse needs, including those for whom English is a second language. This course includes a long-term field experience in which students will work in an elementary or high school, according to program.
