ED 3723 - Integrated Literacy (3) Offered on demand This course is an in-depth look at using a variety of strategies for integrating reading and writing across the curriculum and developing vocabulary and comprehension skills. It will help students understand how to identify and explore quality literature. It will also focus on using informational and exemplary texts to teach content, as well as evidence-based writing. Lastly, the course will address scaffolding and differentiation strategies for struggling readers.
Prerequisite: ED 3476 .
