CS 4103 - Parallel and Distributed Computing 3 Overview of methods for programming and computing in parallel and distributed environments using open standards with various architectures, such as multi-core CPU and GPU; compiler and code optimizations and methods for divide-and-conquer using contemporary languages and interfaces, such as OpenMP, OpenMPI, and OpenCL; technical design and concepts of distributed computing systems and architectures; and, methods on local and national high-performance computing resources will be included as permitted and or available.
