Exploration of principles of marketing that apply to all business disciplines and their applications to the music industry. Discussion of traditional marketing channels and techniques, the impact of digital technology on distribution and the opportunities it creates within the entertainment industry. Class time includes guest presentations and interviews from members of the music community.
