ENGR 3613 - Humanitarian Engineering (3) F, SP The purpose of this course is to prepare students for a potential career in the field of humanitarian engineering. The
focus of the course is to develop an understanding of the application of engineering principles to the advancement of
technology and systems for sustainable development. The course will cover the subject areas of poverty, sustainability,
and culture; social justice principles; development strategies; and engineering for sustainable community development.
