HN 3103 - The Sciences in Crisis (3) F, SP Society looks to the sciences for solutions to some of the biggest problems we face. This course provides an introduction to the basic concepts in several different areas of science-physics, biology, chemistry, environmental science, and space science-and discusses how these sciences may apply to some of our big societal problems, such as climate change, adequacy of resources, biodiversity loss, energy needs, artificial intelligence, and natural disasters. NOTE: STEM majors and allied health students should register for the disciplinary courses. Satisfies LUMS 2xx3
