BY 4023 - Cancer Biology (3) F

This course is designed to give students in-depth understanding of the molecular basis of cancer, as well as an increased knowledge in clinical aspects of cancer diagnosis and treatment. Characteristics of cancer cells, oncogenes and tumor suppressors, the tumor microenvironment, tumor immunology, and novel cancer therapies are major areas covered. Offered every fall.

Prerequisites: BY 2114 and BY 3114.
