MA 2183 - Elementary Statistics (3) F, SP, SU

Data collection and presentation; measures of central tendency and variability; discrete and continuous probability distributions; confidence intervals; hypothesis testing; analysis of variance; regression.

Prerequisite: MA 1113 or MA 1135 with a minimum grade of “C,” or at least a 23 ACT (or 560 SAT or 20 CLT) math score or at least a score of 30 on Lipscomb’s Math Placement Test.
CS 1041 strongly recommended.
