BY 3043 - Neurophysiology (3) SP

This course is designed to introduce students to the cellular and molecular function of the nervous system. We will discuss neuronal structure, activity, synaptic transmission, and neural development. We will briefly examine sensory functions and reflex activity. We will also cover the changes that occur within the nervous system as a result of learning and memory. Lastly, we will discuss the molecular basis of select neurological disease.
