PHPR 2302 - Self-Care II (2)

The course focuses on the study and therapeutic use of self-care therapies, such as non-prescription drugs and devices, dietary supplements, and homeopathic drugs. Learners will gain knowledge and skills pertaining to the assessment of patients for necessary, safe, and/or appropriate use of self-care. Students will enhance their understanding of the regulatory status of these products and services and learn to utilize information resources when responding to self-care inquiries from patients. This course is a continuation from Self-Care I.
