EG 6403 - Group Dynamics 3

This course is designed to offer a basic introduction to the counseling theories and practice in
leadership of small groups. It is intended to provide an overview of the types of group as well as
skills and techniques to manage and organize group sessions and group interactions. In addition,
special topics relevant to today’s current issues of students within all school systems will be
explored to acquire competencies to facilitate groups upon completion of this course.
Discernment of religious and spiritual values in group counseling will be explored relating to
group process and best practices.
