Private lessons in major instrument (50-minute, 1-hour credit) during each semester the student is enrolled (8 hours credit, minimum of 4 hours must be 3000-level).

Participation and a satisfactory grade (for credit) in MUE 1201  Wind Ensemble or MUE 1211  Orchestra (or assigned string ensemble) for each semester the student is enrolled (up to 8).

Participation and a satisfactory grade (for credit) in choral ensemble (1 semester).

Participation and a satisfactory grade (for credit) in elective ensemble (1 semester).

Participation and a satisfactory grade in MU 2000   (Music Seminar) during each semester the student is enrolled (up to 6).
