EG 5393 - Professional Orientation & Management (3)

This course will provide an introduction to the professional roles, responsibilities, and identity of school counselors. Historical, philosophical, educational, and psychological foundations of counseling as well as current trends facing school counselors will be explored. Candidates will investigate how to design, develop, and implement a professional school counseling program. Ed.S. sections have additional course assignments.
