PR 6003 - Public Relations Campaigns (3) F


This course provides a comprehensive study of the theory, models, research, and professional practices related to the planning, creation, and execution of public relations campaigns as a specialized application of professional PR communication. The various purposes, goals, objectives, outcomes, methods, functional roles, and phases of PR campaigns are considered. Using foundational and contemporary research findings, normative models, theoretical constructs and emerging patterns, trends and practices this course provides a solid foundation to the uses, effects and impacts of both traditional and new communication modalities in PR campaigns.
