FCM 5193 - Television History (3)

A critical survey of film history from inception to present, primarily through an American lens. Begins with the medium’s origins in other media including radio and film and highlights key contributions to the field as well as seminal programs in television history. Students will produce at least 15 pages of finished critical prose.
