EN 2903 - Reading and Writing Critically (3) F, SP


This course offers enhanced instruction in the techniques of critical reading and writing. Students will be introduced to major critical approaches and will develop the skills necessary to evaluate, analyze, and interpret a variety of texts. Students will also learn to utilize those skills in crafting informed and engaged critical, multimodal writing. Taught in a workshop setting, students will also learn how to constructively critique each other’s work. 

Open to any student. 

Required for English majors and Writing minors. EN 2000 (Orientation to the English Major) must be taken in the same semester by English majors

Prerequisite: EN 1313  
Corequisite: EN 3013  EN 2000  (English Majors Only)
This course may satisfy a LIGHT requirement.
