Foundational processes in reporting the news will include the important tenets of journalism, the aspects of a good news story, research, interview techniques and production values. Hands-on experience of editorial debate, real-world impact of news decisions, writing and camera techniques and field production will allow students to create superior video news stories for multiple platforms.
